Battalion Chief Elijah John brings a wide variety of skills to the department, beginning his fire-fighting journey at just 10 years old and being the first in his family. First starting in his local volunteer department he quickly gained admiration within before eventually moving to LCFR as a full time firefighter and paramedic. Born and raised in the heart of rural Wisconsin, growing up in the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and hiking. His admiration for fire departments and how they work first began when he was just 10 years of age seeing the ambulances and trucks on their way to a house fire on the other side of town, after this he started a small firefighting education group at just 13, involving over 1000 members of all ages. After years of hard work and dedication he has risen to a position of leadership. As battalion chief Elijah promises to bring structure, dependancy, and honor to the department while being welcoming for new recruits.
